Amy Aniobi writes for the hit HBO show, “Insecure,” staring Issa Rae. The show is currently taping it’s third season, but Amy (my Nigerian sister from another mister) took some time to chat with us. She even has a season three spoiler for us so listen until the end!

Amy’s story is not only about a 30 something living her best life and working for a hit show. It is also about picking your passion and sticking with it no matter what, believing you’ve achieved success before it happens.

Meaghan St. Marc says she is the most non-entrepreneur Entrepreneur. But sometimes you can’t fight destiny! This is who she was meant to be! In the last few years she and her business partner have opened not one, not two, but THREE spin studios. Like many of us, she felt like she had to do what she studied in college, but her love of fitness and helping people couldn’t be denied.

Today, Rev’d Indoor Cycling has a big following in the Boston ‘burbs. In fact, when Soul Cycle moved in next door. But this small business did not get scared by the competition. In fact, business has gotten better.

A HUSTLER, newlywed, and soon to be mommy, Meag is definitely a girl boss, which she describes as a woman doing something, pushing the limits, creating and supporting. YASS!

I’m in Love with a Boss

2014-08-31 Nneka + Austin's Wedding Jpeg 1301v copy

I know I said we would be releasing new episodes every other week, I wanted to sneak in another episode in honor of Valentine’s Day. As a hopeless romantic, I couldn’t pass up the opportunity. I wanted to know what the heck would attract someone to a BOSS, an ambitious person? Is it difficult to marry someone who is so dedicated to their career? Is it intimidating? Do these ambitious people offer something special, a certain je ne sais quoi?

To get answers, I asked my husband. What’s it like to be in love with a Boss? We kept it profesh, so don’t worry, not a lot of mushy-gushy stuff. Enjoy!
